Rebecca and Elgar

Rebecca is my dear friend and Elgar is her sweet, senior pup who is turning 14 this year.

As a mother to an ancient dog myself, I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her and Elgar at home. Elgar is experiencing some age related health issues, so it was very important to Rebecca to capture these sweet moments together. I have no doubt Elgar will continue to live a wonderful life right next to Rebecca... this chihuahua, like my very own crusty, white dog, is indestructible. My husband and I have had the pleasure of babysitting him on multiple occasions, and he fits right in with our family so well.

This photoshoot is one of my favorites I have ever done. I know I say that a lot, but senior, rescue dogs truly steal my hear, Elgar in particular. Cheers to Elgar's long and healthy life!
